This is either really generous, genius, or just plain stupid.
Lucas Arts have put the iPhone version of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge Special Edition on sale. For 59p. £0.59. That’s 12% of it’s original price (£4.99).
I was 1 year old at the time of Monkey Island 2′s original release, so I’d never even heard of the game before the remake came out. But I’m still buying it. Why? Because from everyone I know that’s played it I’m hearing very positive things. It certainly wouldn’t be a stretch to say Monkey Island 2 is a classic in adventure gaming. So why not, for those of you in my boat, try out a graphically remastered point-and-click adventure classic on the touchscreen interface of the iPhone/iPod Touch?
For 59p, you’re hardly taking a big risk. There’s even a Lite version for you budget gamers.
Off you go. You can thank me later.
